Introduction: Today's business is characterized by Constant change and dynamism in every sphere. Organizations have become more human resource oriented and it is the human resource capital that plays a dominant role in helping the organization to stand apart in the crowd. Hence, it becomes imperative for managers to continuously educate and update themselves about the changes and evolving management practices. With this vision MDP/FDP Cell was formulated at GHS-IMR, Kanpur under the dynamic leadership of Prof. DR P P Yadav Director GHS-IMR.
Apart from offering regular Programme, the MDP Cell considers its role of imparting training and in developing corporate executives, through Tailor made Programmes, Fully customized in-house programmes with all Industry based examples and Cases, and consultancy, as an important activity. The cell also conducts FDPs to Train the Trainers.
The institute conducts Management Development Programmes (MDPs) through which it endeavors to facilitate learning new and latest developments in the areas of Management, Service Operations Management, Marketing, HRM, OB, Q T, Risk Management, Financial & Investment Training, Strategic Management, Quality Assurance, Cost Control and Information Technology based training.
The MDPs at GHS‑IMR Kanpur started in the year 2000‑01 and since then has been growing with the support of many organizations till now. The MDPs at GHSIMIR Kanpur are specifically designed to reflect the evolving realities of business and management practices & applications so that it adds knowledge and skill to the participants, facilitating their professional contribution to the future success of their organization. The MDPs provide the executives with an opportunity to access contemporary thinking, exchange ideas and gain insights from a diverse range of business arena.
In order to promote out of Box and lateral thinking the FDP/MDP cell was given an independent status with the following organisational structure.
