IT Center

GHS IMR has fully air conditioned, State-of-the-art Information Technology Centre recognizing the need for easy accessibility to latest relevant data and information for preparing presentations. The IT center has been designed to provide the students with latest facilities available in the industry.

Centrally air conditioned Computer Center in new Building has been a place of attraction for all students. Some of the achievements are as under:

1. High –end Quad-Core Data Server from IBM with RAID functionality.
2. All students are equipped with personal Laptop.
3. Entire campus is hot-spot, i.e., Full Wi-Fi zone. (First and only institute in Kanpur having this feature and one of among few in U.P.)
4. 2 Mbps Lease Line 1: with 24X7 Internet Connectivity.
5. Institute is connected to National Backbone of BSNL with optical fiber and 2Mbps connectivity, 1:1 will be functional by the beginning of next term.
6. Heavy duty network printer in computer center, faculty and administrative blocks.
7. All faculty member, staff member and students are now equipped with institutional email id. Internal circulars and Memos are sent using group distribution lists.
8. New Interactive Website of GHS-IMR www.ghsimr.org is running and fully functional.
9. Online conferencing facility is available in all classrooms of the institute. (First and only institute in Kanpur having this feature).
10. Institute successfully conducted a short course on SAP in collaboration with JK Technosoft Ltd. The certifications were provided by SAP Labs.
