GHS- IMR has come a long way since 1995; it has unique Digitalized Learning Centre and equips all the relevant information available at a click for emerging global managers who go through the grind to equip themselves with right skills and expertise to achieve world class standards in various functional areas of management. GHS- IMR provides Auditorium that acts as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences and other events. lt has seating capacity of about 336 people and equipped with Bose sound system. For events of a smaller scale, the Seminar Hall equipped with advanced presentation tools, is an ideal venue.
Library
The Library with several thousand highly selective books, subscribing to I28 selective journals, and giving access to several hundreds of online periodicals and books, besides bibliographic, textual and statistical databases serves about 400 of its members, focuses on innovation in its service delivery mechanisms, and optimizes resources available through a network of collaborating libraries of nationally and internationally reputed institutions worldwide. Recent additions to the Library and information resources are: PROWESS database of CMIE, CAPITALINE and lndiastat.com. More databases are likely to be added soon. Email based regular information services are sent directly into the personal email ld’s of the users.
IT Center
GHS IMR has fully air conditioned, State-of-the-art Information Technology Centre recognizing the need for easy accessibility to latest relevant data and information for preparing presentations. The IT center has been designed to provide the students with latest facilities available in the industry. Our Computer Center in new Campus is very well equipped with 120 Pentium 4 computers of 256 MB of RAM with CD ROM/DVD Drive. Total 150 Terminals in the whole institute are running on One High-end IBM Quad-Core Data Server, One UNIX Based Internet Server and One IBM AIX Server for LAN and Wi-Fi connection. All necessary Operating System (Windows / Linux) and S/w that are needed in the course for effective functioning of the institute are available, For example WINDOWS 2003 Server, WINDOWS XP, WINDOWS VISTA, OFFICE 2003, ORACLE 9i, NORTON, McAfee, PROWESS, Capital Line, SPSS etc. Besides this Institute have 1 heavy duty photocopier and one printer cum photocopier. Fully Wi-Fi campus of GHS-IMR has 2Mbps of dedicated lease line 24X7 internet connections.
Hostel
GHS-IMR Hostel block has a square in the center where badminton courts with artificial turf are maintained turf and green environment. GHS-IMR hostel block has a common room where facilities such as wall-mounted televisions, printers, table-tennis tables and carom and chess games are available. It is the common room that provides the scene of action for get-togethers, parties and informal discussions. Each floor is further equipped with landline phones, water coolers and water purifiers. Students also make use of the open terraces on each block for various purposes, ranging from drying clothes to hosting parties.
The individual rooms are furnished with teak cots and bedding, a computer table, chairs, closets and shelves. All rooms have full time internet connectivity with direct lines to the main LAN. The housekeeping staff are available through the week except Sundays and take care of cleaning the rooms, corridors and rest rooms on a daily basis.
Dedicated mess facilities and round the clock canteen facilities are available in the hostels. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available and the pan-Indian menu is managed by the student body. Various other snacks, biscuits, chocolates, ice cream and soft drinks are available in the mess itself.
Canteen
A healthy mind can only reside in a healthy body. We, at GHS- lMR, understand, hence, we provide best food at our Canteen, which is nutritious and ensure well balanced diets. Classrooms Classroom teaching is augmented by action oriented learning approach to provide a smooth transition from a student's life to a successful career in entrepreneurship or in the corporate world.
Classroom
The classrooms at GHS-IMR do not just create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning but in a sense nurture the quest for knowledge that the students possess. The original classrooms all seat 60 students. Anticipating capacity constraints,. In contrast to the PGP classrooms, which offer a linear seating arrangement. All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with all modern teaching aids. These include electronic media such as multimedia notebooks, LCD & O/H projectors, infrared pointers, cordless microphones and speakers, etc. Audio-visual aids such as television and video players are also regularly used. There are also separate Seminar rooms, Audio-Visual rooms and seminar halls equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing facilities. it creates right atmosphere for long hours of learning.
SPORTS FACILITIES
Situated atop a very scenic hillock, the campus offers plenty of beautiful spaces for students to take part in a whole range of sporting activities.
Open lawns and cleared spaces also provide excellent opportunities for impromptu games of cricket, badminton or table tennis. Like the rest of India though, it is cricket that rules. Institute has a square in the center that has a badminton courts. Institute provides the best and safest facilities for students to play on. The squares in the larger blocks can frequently be found entertaining games of cricket.
The institute takes great pride in its state of the art Gymnasium. The gym is equipped with most modern work out machines like exercise bike, rowing machine, stepper and multi gym. Also, dumbbells and discs are available in all sizes to provide participants extensive free weight training. All the three types - Flat, Inclined and Declined - are available for the bench-press enthusiasts. The Gym floor features a layer of plywood and adds to the ambience of the Gym, making the workout a highly enjoyable and refreshing experience. A complete boxing kit consisting of punching bags and gloves adds another feather to the cap.
