Sanjay Lalbhai of Arvinds India, Maker of World’s best denim, has an idea of Renovision, a combination of Renovation & Vision, inspired millions to follow. Wal Mart, IBM, Raymond, Suzuki and many more surviving because of Innovation in their products and services and Incubation & Entrepreneurial Centre at GHS-IMR will help and provide a platform to the Incubatees to transform their dreams into reality like managing innovations and New Products & Services Development, Product Life Cycle, New Usage of the Products etc.

About Us

GHS-IMR has set up an Incubation & Entrepreneurial Centre to foster innovation, research and entrepreneurial activities in the areas of new concepts, new product development, management of product life cycle etc. it will also help in the interaction of the Incubatees with the Venture Capitalists and Industry.
GHS-IMR is providing a platform to noveu prospective entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to transform their innovative and creative ideas and skills into a viable products. The Institute is supported by the benevolent J K Organisation and its rich industrial and professional experience.

Incubation

Incubatees may be from Faculty, students or aluminus, or any technology promotion agency ( Govt. or non- government) or entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises from outside of the institute with a mission to try out a novice technological for the upgradation of commercial ventures and technological business concepts.
All applications for the membership to IEC, GHS-IMR, Kanpur, will be evaluated by the committee. The applicant will have to sign an agreement with IEC, GHS-IMR, Kanpur for the space utilisation.

Facilities

The faculty members will mentor incubatees and will help them in the new business plan development and projects. . The faculty is also invited from IIT Kanpur, SIDBI, HBTI and Stalwarts of the industry for the guidance in developing ideas, screening and products. The IEC, GHS-IMR, will provide all necessary help to all incubatees in the beginning to start, promote and sustain in the business.
The Campus is located in the heart of Kanpur City, Kamla Nagar, near JK Temple, having a rich greenery, thus making soothing environment.

Information Technology Centre

GHS-IMR has fully airconditioned, state of the art Information Technology Centre. The Computer Centre is the first of its kind to implement High-end Quad –Core Data Server from IBM with facility of automatic backup; fully Wi-Fi campus zone; and 2 Mbps 24x7 Optical Fibre Leased Line internet connectivity. Popular databases like PROWESS, CAPTALINE financial software packages enable future managers with live data. All faculty staff and students are equipped with laptops & institutional email ids.

Office Support

We will provide various facilities to the incubates like-

• PCs with printer on rental basis.
• Internet Connectivity, Photocopy and Telephone.

Library:

GHS-IMR library has about 9000 titles and 128 international and national journals. The library is equipped with LibSys and Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Library subscribes to online database like CMIE database, Capitalline and Indiastat.com.
Incubatees can access our library at Campus-II by depositting a refundable security amount of Rs. 2000/- and annual membership fees Rs. 500/- (non-refundable).
The Incubation & Entrepreneurial Centre, will also mentor Small Scale Industries in sorting out their problems.
