Dr. Gaur Hari Singhania Institute of Management and Research
(GHS-IMR) took birth under the banner of J.K. Organization Kanpur,
in 1995. J.K. Organization has been the vanguard of industrial
progress in India, besides fulfilling corporate social
responsibility. GHS-IMR was established with the avowed objectives
of imparting formal management education, and accordingly with the
approval of All India Council for technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.)
ministry of HRD Government of India.
GHS-IMR aims at developing technical, professional and managerial
excellence, and social and cultural sensitivity. It has also concern
for environment, besides management ethics. The academic programs
strive to impart management education and equip the student
community with more effective techniques and decision-making
abilities and also extend impetus to budding manager for excellence
